REBORN

Turning aback what do I see
The girl who once from life was ready to flee
The fear,the pain the low self esteem
No zeal no zest ,Ohh just not keen
Yet arose she from all the barricades
Breaking the bridges of doubt and hate
The chains that held her back you see
Were chains of the why’s,the cry,the plea
With wake up call struck reality
To rescue herself to a highest degree
A time for birth,A time to die
Reborn she was with passion on high
Standing tall with a flamboyant attitude
Exquisite sight yet filled with gratitude
Confidence is her expensive attire
Walking gracefully but with wings of fire
Piercing gaze and eyes of mystery
Carving her own path to create history
She is the captain of her own ship
Holding the reins with firm but gentle grip
Reborn she is to show the way
Sharp and focused she won’t sway
Girl of valor ,very headstrong
To none of you will she conform

THE HEART’S Plea 
I am heart , just the size of a fist
Yet beats the rhythm with a bliss
I pump essence from head to toe
I’m free flowing and holds no woe
No rest,no break,nothing to take
Always giving ,just to create
Joy,peace,awe and wonder
Sprinkle them in every encounter
I say Don’t moan, don’t sulk
Please don’t get drunk
It hurts always
To work on that bulk
Eat well and please no no junk
Your tests may show I too can flunk
A skipped beat here,the odd quiver there
Fast,slow and funny beats are not rare
Don’t rage, come out of your mental cage
Be lively, kind and learn to engage
Get up and walk down the old dim street
Greet every soul as you thou meet
May love be your only soulmate
To celebrate,appreciate and go on a date
I work too hard day in and out
You got to trust me with no doubt
Lub dub, I beat before you are born
And last to leave once you are gone
So dear friend be kind to me
Whispering gently, Let it be!

RAINBOWS
The colors that run across the sky
At the skip of a heartbeat I wonder why
The glorious,deep symphony of hues
Surely and utterly leaves me amused
Enchanting and vibrant as they form a band
Uniting the sun and rain,hand in hand
I glisten in awe at the sight of thy bows
Smiling and beaming as I take those vows
To grow and flourish,cherish and flow
Dance I will but very slow
Your presence leaves me too mesmerized
Over the meadows I watch you tongue tied
With joys abound and feet on the ground
Like a treasure that is lost and found
Colors of hope,peace and love
Pure and pristine like a white dove
You seek our stillness for a moment or two
Which is divine,fine and solemnly true
Rainbows,sign of peace and promise
Stay alert or it’s a hit and miss
Your sight is so soothing to the eyes
Just like the sound of new born cries
I wait eagerly for you time and again
Each time for a humble gain

THE VOID

The void in my heart is ever too deep
Sometimes and often it is hard to keep
The anguish,the hurt,after all it’s a pain
Realized not too late,it’s all in vain
Endure we must the crushing torment
In parts,In whole,In every moment
It’s bitter,It’s sweet,It’s tangy to taste
Savor we must Ohh my dear mate
For lessons that lie low deep in the void
Of hope and peace that leaves us overjoyed
Oh Void,Oh Void you will linger
Lest you know that my heart will conquer

STRENGTH IN SOLITUDE

I sit by the shore
Far from the worldly roar
Gazing with a sense of tribute
There is strength in solitude
The sound of the waves
Ohh many of you crave
In the pulse of every tide
There is strength in solitude
In the trails of the forests
On the tree branches birds rest
Towering tall with fortitude
There is strength in solitude
On a dark starry sky
What if you had wings to fly
To soar at grand altitude
And courageous attribute
There is strength in solitude

THE SCARRED HEART

The crushing pain my heart endures

The joys and peace they all obscure

It engulfs me with deep anguish

How hard I wish it ain’t vanish

It seeks my attention after all

To look at it not as downfall

The past of hurt and loss it speaks 

Through eyes too moist

And words too weak

It may seem all is dark and bleak

For  those who think are meek and weak

But fear not it pushes us to walk with courage

With words of strength that will encourage

For every scar is a lesson to learn

The more you have more wisdom you earn

WOMAN OF SUBSTANCE

Woman you are strikingly strong

You know it all where you belong

Not one place is your homeland

Leaving marks on every stretched hand

You possess the heart of gold

Giving always to the new and the old

You walk with such beauty and poise

Making heads turn with no choice

Your smile is such a warm delight

The thought of which makes me feel light

Such zeal of energy you possess

Tell me the secret to your success

You cherish the simple joys of life

With patience,love and happy stride

You steal the show with your immense grace
