BE A LOTUS
Lotus is a stunning flower that represents Resilience,Courage,Strength and Patience The metaphor of lotus is used often in life,heavily to acknowledge the true meaning of life,the challenges we endure and the passion and perseverance to navigate through those challenges no matter what the odds.
The lotus blossom’s life is marked by three main stages.
In the beginning the bud lies below the dense mud,rooted in ignorance and darkness and eventually it gets pulled upwards to the warmth of the sunlight.
The next part of the lotus flower’s evolution is the climb through the mucky waters ,a metaphor for your emotional experiences as it continues reaching out to the sun regardless of the environment
The last stage is when the lotus bud blossoms into a beautiful flower that can be admired by all who knows of it.
If we have to visualize the lotus bud deeply entrenched in mud surrounded by nothing conducive to it’s growth we may opt to believe that is fate.But the bud has a deeper intelligence of its own and seeks the path of warmth emanating from the sun and it pushes through the dense mucky waters.The challenge to push through the density is enormous but the ‘Will’ to thrive and ‘Emerge’ is much more sacred and powerful.
So is it with human life.
Life in any form on the planet is challenged with mucky waters.
With humans we are gifted with the profound power to think and rationalise.We too get drowned by the seeds of ignorance that darkens our view and overall perspective towards life. However ,the only power we have is the ‘POWER TO CHOOSE’ .Choose to Stay stagnant or rise and shine,
